Description
Bambu Lab A2L Combo 3D Printer with AMS Lite
The Bambu Lab A2L Combo is the most accessible way into big, multi-colour printing. It pairs the A2L – a 330 × 320 × 325 mm open-frame printer with 105% more build volume than the 256mm class – with the AMS Lite, a four-spool automatic material system. Unbox it, run the guided setup and you're printing four-colour helmets, props and batch jobs from MakerWorld in under half an hour, with the printer handling levelling, flow and vibration calibration itself.
Key Features
- 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume – full-size helmets, large cosplay props and batch jobs without splitting the model
- AMS Lite included: four spools, RFID filament sync, automatic filament backup and spring-loaded spool holders that grip cardboard spools
- Full-auto calibration – bed levelling, Z-offset, vibration and flow dynamics measured by the printer, before and during the print
- Adaptive Vibration Compensation plus two granular dampers for clean surfaces at full height
- PMSM servo extruder with 20,000 checks per second – detects tangles, run-out, grinding and air printing
- 500 mm/s print speed with 10,000 mm/s² acceleration, 1.5mm-pitch belts for fewer surface artefacts
- Quick-release hotend compatible with Bambu's full nozzle range, nozzle clumping detector on the purge flinger
- Expandable to 19 colours by chaining AMS Lite with box-style AMS and AMS 2 Pro units
- Optional blade-cutting and pen-plotting modules turn it into a craft cutter for vinyl, stickers, leather and paper
- 49 dB in silent mode, UL 2904 GREENGUARD certified for indoor air quality with official filaments
- 3.5-inch touchscreen, 1080p camera for monitoring and timelapses, one-click printing from MakerWorld

FAQ
A2L Combo or A1 Combo?
Same easy setup and AMS Lite, but the A2L gives you a 330mm bed instead of 256mm, a servo extruder, adaptive vibration compensation and direct compatibility with the box-style AMS 2 Pro. Pick the A1 Combo if bench space is tight; pick the A2L for helmets, armour and batch runs.
Can I add more colours?
Yes. Chain up to four box-style AMS / AMS 2 Pro units with the AMS Lite for up to 19 colours. Connecting a box-style unit uses one AMS Lite buffer path, and the AMS 2 Pro / AMS HT drying functions need their external power supply on the A2L.
Can I print ABS or ASA?
Bambu doesn't recommend it – the A2L is open-frame and the bed tops out at 80 °C. For engineering filaments choose an enclosed printer such as the P2S Combo.
Is the printer-only version available?
Yes – see the Bambu Lab A2L 3D Printer without AMS Lite.
