Stock Update #2 — Preorders Are Now Open

Hey, Shane here — following up on the stock update from a couple of weeks ago, because I promised to keep you in the loop, and there's news on both fronts.

First, the honest bit

The first shipment has slipped a little further than we'd hoped when I last wrote. It's now due to dock in Melbourne around 14 September, with the second container arriving roughly a week behind it. The good news is that both are confirmed and on the water — no more surprises from the factory side, and I'm watching the vessel tracker daily.

The third shipment and the monthly-container schedule I mentioned last time are still locked in. This is the last lean stretch.

Now, the part I'm excited about: preorders are open

Rather than making everyone wait for the shelves to fill up and then race each other to the site, we've opened preorders across the entire incoming range — every material, every colour that's on those containers.

And because you've been so patient through the drought, preordering gets you looked after:

One more thing worth knowing: everything on these containers arrives on our new thicker clear spool design — sturdier than the old spool, and still fully transparent so you can see exactly how much filament you've got left. Preorders are the first orders to ship on it.

The discount and the draw both end the moment stock physically lands, and preorder quantities are capped at what's actually on the containers — so if you've been waiting on a specific colour, now's the time.
